The 87LPC762 does not support access to external data memory. However, the User Configuration Bytes are accessed via the MOVX instruction as if they were in external data memory.

-[l-L-logic levels in 5V systems, with CMOS-Iogic levels in3V systems, or with open-drain or open-collector outputdevices. A normally-open momentary switch from MR toground can also be used; it requires no externaldebouncing circuitry. MR is designed to reject fast,negative-going transients (typically 100ns pulses). AO.lpF capacitor from MR to ground provides additionalnoise immunity. The MR input pin is eq uipped with internal ESD-protectioncircuitry that may become forward biased. Should MR bedriven by voltages higher than VcC, excessive currentwould be drawn, which would damage the part. Forexample, assume that MR is driven by a +5V supply otherthan VcC. If VCC drops lower than +4.7V, MR's absolutemaximum rating is violated [-0.3V to (Vcc + 0.3V)], andundesirable current flows through the ESD structure fromMR to VcC. To avoid this, use the same supply for MR asthe supply monitored by VCC. This guarantees that thevoltage at MR will never exceed Vcc.

Each machine cycle takes 12 0scillator or clock cycles. XTAL1 Input to the inverting oscillator amplifier and input to theinternal clock operating circuit.
