LM316AH/883 Suppliers Current-Sense ComparatorsSeveral internal current-sense comparators are usedinside the MAX887. In PWM operation, the PWM com-parator is used for current-mode control. Current-modecontrol imparts cycle-by-cycle current limiting and pro-vides improved load and line response, allowing tighterspecification of the inductor saturation current limit toreduce inductor cost. A second 100mA current-sensecomparator is used across the P-channel switch to con-trol entry into PFM mode. A third current-sense com-parator monitors current through the internal N-channelMOSFET to set the NEGLIM threshold and determine LM316AH/883 Datasheet IREFThis is a bufferedVREF outputto an off-chipresistorto produce an accurate current reference, withinthe chip, for the biasing of amplifiers with currentoutputs into filters.
